Final Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission for the joint ESA/ISA conference in Paris, will close on Friday 30th October. We are working hard to ensure a successful conference in spite of COVID-19. Please support us by submitting your abstracts in good time at . If you cannot come to Paris in person you will be able to present your work on-line. In view of the continuing uncertainty about the COVID-19 pandemic and international travel, we are making contingency plans for a partly or fully virtual meeting. In the event of a partially virtual conference, platform presentations given in the hall will be live-streamed to virtual attendees. If the speaker is unable to attend they will be able or present from home either live or as a recording. If the conference is fully virtual, speakers will be able either to present from home or pre-record their talks for streaming. Posters will be presented as e-posters. Please be assured that you will be able to present any work that is accepted.

We have an excellent and full programme of invited speakers which can be seen at All invited speakers have agreed to present their talks on-line if they are unable to come to Paris in person. The cost of virtual registration not yet fixed, but will be much less than for attendance, as we don’t have to feed you! In view of the uncertainty regarding the format of the meeting, we are postponing the opening of registration at present.

Registration is not required for abstract submission. We hope to be able to make a definite decision on the format of the conference by January at the latest.

We look forward to an interesting and valuable, if different, meeting.
